I tried to download and launch skylight by doing a chmod a+x .Skylight_v0.1.11.AppImage and by running it from commandline with no luck. The system seems to proceed for a bit and stops. Pasting the raw output from the terminal. Not sure if there are any dependencies and such. (Which there should not be) I did try to reboot my machine for what its worth.

Just checked on Ubuntu with gnome and the same issue persists

It was user error on Ubuntu! Had to reinstall Pop!_os, and it went swimmingly.
