Yeah, it's definitely a different pricing model. According to them:
"We created a flat, once-per-month pricing structure to help make the cost of using leverage easier to understand."
Personally, for the type of investing I'm doing I would expect to quickly make that $10/mo back with the extra $2k of leverage so it's all splitting hairs.

Yeah, that certainly would cut into one's profits. The question of course would be if you can consistently turn that $2k into at least $2120 in a year. Thankfully you guys have written this lovely tool to help us determine that a little more conclusively!

Robinhood won't share their official API. At least we couldn't find in the Robinhood Github page.
There are lots of unofficial ones, but we cannot rely on those.
We ask robinhood clients to lobby for us! Maybe they will hear you.

I emailed robinhood explaining the situation on August 28th. They sent me a canned response to which I replied saying that it did not answer my question.
On Nov 24th they FINALLY responded with a real person, here is what I got:
