Hi guys,
is there a way to read a .csv into the reserach notebook? I tried via pandas (df = pandas.read_csv(r'c:\..csv')) which works for my jupyter notebook in Conda but it does not work in Quantconnect's jupyter notebook.
Any other way to get this data in (it's a non-US security hence .csv)?
Thanks for any hints in advance.

Hi Rainer,
We would first need to upload that file to Dropbox, and make the file public. Then we need to Download it using our QuantBook object. If reading the csv into a pandas DataFrame, we then need to pass our csv file object into StringIO. So it would look like this:
from io import StringIO
import pandas as pd
qb = QuantBook()
csv = qb.Download('https://www.dropbox.com/s/8v6z949n25hyk9o/custom_weather_data.csv?dl=1')
df = pd.DataFrame(StringIO(csv))
Please see the notebook in the attached backtest for reference. On how to do this in the main algorithm, please see our docs here.
Best,
Shile Wen
