Hi Jovad,
Yes, it is possible to short while paper trading. To do so, we submit an order with a negative quantity or emit an insight with a downward direction.
If we are executing an algorithm that adheres to the Framework design, we need to specify an execution model. If we are executing a classic algorithm, we do not.
