Hello,
I connected to IB using Quant connect data and paper trading.
I can see changes in my equity, so I assume. the trades have been placed, but the Orders panel is blank.
How can I see the currently open trades?
I don't want to login to IB account as I think it will close out the Paper trading automation here

You may not have orders. You should write a trigger that sends a log or debug statement everytime an order is placed. Check the documentation for order handling i think, that is where it is.

Hi Apollos,
Thank you for checking this. However, why do I see a fluctuation with my Equity if there are no orders placed? Did not understand the chart in that case.

I Ray, I have seen that behaviour, small equity changes with no orders, if your IB account is not denominated in US dollars, or has several different currencies in the account, it is basically making the forex calculation against US dollars. I hope this helps you.

hi Hector Barrio , I think it will actually make sense. I am still not sure why it is not making a trade though.
Anyways, I have a monthly reblanacing may be that is the reason. Also do you know this checkbox "Show All Portfolio" buttton. It shows me multiple stock symbols and price, but the none of these are actually traded and the price and quantity fieds are also blank. Check image -

Hey Ray,
The Show All Portfolio checkbox will show the symbols, price, etc. for all securities that have data subscribed to in your algorithm. This will include any securities that are in the universe even if they're not being actively traded. The Average Price, Quantity, Market Value, and Unrealized fields for a symbol will be populated when the portfolio has a position invested in that symbol.
