Hello,
Is there a way to Paper trade free of cost on Quantconnect? Like normal paper trading or with a demo account from any broker?

I think that would work, or you could implement a Rolling Window to reference previous values. You can find more information here;

Live trading is free for all students logging in with a .edu address. If you're not a student, check out our pricing page for costs associated with renting a live server for paper trading. Currently, our users can get set up for just $20/month with a Prime membership.

I assume then the Paper trading free of cost based on other providers like FXCM or IB is no longer available?

Using QuantConnect to paper trade requires a prime subscription because paper trading requires using a live server.
Keep in mind, it is possible to live trade for free by installing and running Lean locally because this does not require using one of QuantConnect live servers.
