I am extremely familiar with Eclipse due to my background in Java. I have recently begun learning Python and I was wondering if I could still use the lean engine in Eclipse.

Hi Quinn,
First you'll have to install LEAN onto your local system. You can follow the installation instructions on the LEAN repository.
We just recently released Skylight, a desktop application which allows you to develop locally on your favorite IDE and also back test on the cloud. Your projects are automatically synchronized with QuantConnect, creating easy access cloud back ups of your projects. Python stubs for the QuantConnect API is still in the TODO list. The python stubs will allow you to use code completion in some IDEs.
