I remember that I had the same problem before and somehow got rid of it, but can someone please explain to me why in the attached backtest neither the debug statements get logged nor a single trade is executed? Help much appreciated!
It s a simple boilinger band strategy, going long if it hits the lower band and vice versa.

There aren't any debugging messages or any output in your backtest because "DKKEUR" is not a supported currency pair. You can check which pairs are supported using the data library.
I changed the pair to "EURUSD" to let OnData run. One good convention to follow is to use Symbols rather than tickers as keys. Symbols are unique to a security, while tickers can change. You can learn more about this in our documentation.
