A few others helped me get a method of using a position counter to add to a current position with Set.Holdings.
I've added that to a simple strategy, and for some reason I can only get it to trade a few years then it stops. So there has to be something wrong with the counter handling with my exit. I tried adding a line to the end of the algo to reset the position counter to 0 after the sell, but I don't think it is working properly.

Hi mark hatlan ,
After 2013-08-30, the condition to enter the long position is never met.

That is not what I was expecting, as on another platform I have lots of entries since 2013. I'll add the indicators to the backtest to review further.
