There is the Quantconnect Youtube channel but quite a few of those videos seem to predate the Framework Algorithm. In my own case I am finding it neccessary to anally go through the "Documentation" with a fine tooth comb again and again and each time I seem to glean a little insight.
I suggested to Jared that the online debug facility might be upgraded so as to rotate through the entire Lean stack and I think beginners such as myself might find that helpful.
I'm also going to download Lean to the desktop so that i can debug in this way but I am not sure what sample data it comes with - it won't be of much help unless it comes with a little Fundamental data as well as price data. At least in my case.
I have used Python a great deal over the past few years in my own backtesting but even so I am finding Lean a real struggle.
Very slow progress indeed but I am beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel. I fear that I find none of it intuitive but I think I will feel much more comfortable if I can run Lean at home and start running through the full stack.
Weirdly enough, I found Quantopian a lot easier a few years back but now those guys have done away with their dumbed down version of the documentation and, raather like with Lean, it leaves you scratching your head and having to proceed by trial and error nowadays.
I have not worked out quite why I am finding Lean so very hard: the Classes and code are there for all to see but somehow the explanations of how to join up all the dots are sporadic or incomplete. Or just plain difficult to follow.
Anyway I have been fiddling around now for many weeks and the penny is only just beginning to drop. If you can't find a course you will just have to get your feet wet as i have done.

Anthony - Sorry it been so hard. We honestly work as fast as possible to create interactive bootcamps and written tutorials, video tutorials, documentation. We'll keep putting in the 80 hour weeks to create the material if you can bear with us until it gets to an acceptable standard.

No, not at all. I believe that the struggle will be worthwhile. It's probably just a case of getting familiar and that is slowly arriving for me.
