Hey guys,
I am new to programming for trading. I have experience with using Python for data science but I do not totally understand the finance side of things. Can you please explain what "Active Strategy" means and how I can achieve this in an Alpha Stream.

My understanding is "active strategy" is the one that meets some arbitrary number of trades per unit time, say 100 trades a day is likely an "active" one, while ~1 trade a day or less is not.

2-5 per day per asset on the whole universe. More than that approaches MFT
and isnt what the sponsor is seeking.
