Hi,
I just learn about QantConnect and I really liked the approach of QantConnect. However I have one concern that I am not able to gain any confidence on it is that I have to type my username and password on QantConnect web site to perform live trading. I do understand earlier response that username and password are on only temporarily stored in RAM, but I don't consider that safe. Will there be alternative login login methods in the future ? What are my options ?
1) Can I run lean from my PC and connect it Via brokerage API while getting tick data "live feed" (live trading) and "historical feed" (for back testing may algorithm) from QantConnect ? Basically very similar to what web interface provides only difference is my PC is used to log into my brokerage API software (I use IB).
