I'm new to QuantConnect and C# programming. I modified the
https://www.quantconnect.com/tutorials/applied-options/bull-call-spreadstrategy to include SPY weekly options. But the algorithm hits this "Runtime error: Algorithm took longer than 10 minutes on a single time loop." I'm wondering what can the problem be.
Thanks a lot in advance.
Eugene
Hi,
same here. I am getting since a couple of days a
Runtime Error: Algorithm took longer than 10 minutes on a single time loop. CurrentTimeStepElapsed: 10.0 minuteswithout changing the algo, which worked before just fine. @QC: Did you chage something on the available server resources?Thx.Jared Broad

FYI yesterday I have reported the issue to support and Alex and Martin solved in less than 1 business days.
After your solution I was able to run a backtest with options for more than 6 years without any problem, while before the issue I couldn't more than 2 weeks. You guys shines like a diamond.

Gabriel, after you opened your support case, was there a place you can track the progress? I reported my case, but there was no return email or anything that I can trace. So I still don't know whether my report was submitted successfully.
Eugene
after reporting, my issue was resolved yesterday, I found out after re-testing.

Hi Ke Shen. QuantConnect sent me a github issue to track. Anyway, you can always check it by yourself all the issues that are being created. Below you have the links for this issue specifically

=) Thanks Gabriel
@Ke Shen -- Normally you should get an email response confirming receipt of the support request. I see no record of your request in any systems, please resubmit it.
