Hi,
Is it possible to run Lean locally on mac if I want to use it with python? I know Visual Studio does not support python on mac. Is there instructions on how to run lean on Visual Studio Code for example?

I got LEAN working on my MacBook Pro using following the instructions:

Some of the projects do not load in Visual Studio Community (QuantConnect.Jupyter). I had to removed them to get things running.
It should also be noted that only Forex and CFD data, from FXCM and Oanda, with Minute, Hour and Daily are free to download/ use from QuantConnect on local environments.Â
This means that you won't be able to any coarse and fine fundamental universe selection methods that are built into the QuantConnect browser IDE.Â
If you have any suggestions on good equity APIs that include price, volume and fundamental data please let me know.

Mac does support Python in Visual Studio. Please follow the instruction here to enable Python support on Lean on your Mac.
