From time to time I get the following, really annoying message. It's been one/two weeks since I started getting it, I never got it before. I haven't managed the cause, my best guess is that is somehow strangely correlated with the length of the files in the project. As a result of the message the backtest just doesn't start. I am using python.
Sorry there was a failure sending the backtest request: undefined
API Error Message: Compile id not found

This sounds like a candidate for a bug report to send to support@quantconnect.com. Even better would be if you could send a support ticket from the affected project, that way the team can dig into it.
