I learned from video that how can i use ApiDataProvider for download data to my local disk. I add some free forex data to my cart. Now i have to checkout for create lean format data in my data? If so why i have to provide sensitive info for free data? If not how can i solve my problem?

My opinion you can do identity verification with some other ways. I didn't see any explanation in the video. Video link will'be below... If you talking about another video please share with me.

Hi Aytac,
Besides the data we provide, you could always use custom data. Here{https://www.quantconnect.com/docs/algorithm-reference/importing-custom-data} is some instruction. You have much more freedom with your own data, with some effort to tailor it into a format that usable for Lean. Download() method is highly recommanded for any external online resources. You might find this example helpful.

Thanks for response. If i'm right custom data is usefull if we have already a data or if we have any service (something like trade signals which differ from standart data types) and signals publishing from web adress. We can write custom data type which is inherited from basedata and override reader so lean know how handle this custom data.
Actually this is not related with my problem but anyway thanks for your explanations.
