Hi there,
I want to create two different orders of EURUSD, and then liquidate the second one. Why doesnt the following code work?
ticket1 = self.MarketOrder("EURUSD",1000)
ticket2 = self.MarketOrder("EURUSD",1000)
ticket2.Liquidate()
If you have multiple MarketOrders, how do you liquidate individual orders? Thanks

Hi Mikael.
The code does not work because the method Liquidate() does not exist on MarketOrder().
Use self.Liquidate() to liquidate all units held in security. To sell a portion of total holdings use self.MarketOrder(). For example, to sell 1000 units of EURUSD:
self.MarketOrder("EURUSD",-1000)
Alternatively, use self.Sell():
self.Sell("EURUSD",1000)
I've attached a backtest where I demonstrate the above by buying 3000 units of EURUSD and selling in total 2000 units using both methods.
Check out this documentation section on Tracking and Managing Orders for further information.
