Hi everyone,
A while ago I wrote a desktop charting application for LEAN. It primarily focuses on analyzing backtests. It regularly receives likes and downloads. I am glad that it is being used :).
It struck me that there is no mobile application yet. It really appeals to me to develop one.
I expect that the primary focus of the mobile application is monitoring live algorithms. For example, viewing the current statistics, logs and getting important notifications. Possibly even managing (eg liquidating or stopping) algorithms.
It seems to me that, especially for mobile phones, we preferably use the web application to design projects. However, I saw a request from 'James. T' for mobile coding. This need may also be shared by others.
Ultimately, of course, it is not about my expectation, but what the community actually wants. I have set up a simple page where we can share ideas and vote on the ideas.

Please take a look, share it and vote :).

hi! extremely nice idea with the mobile app!
May I ask also a question about the charting application?
Does it work also with backtesting QC code written in python?
Do you have in GIT maybe also a compiled version which can be used that we dont need to have VS working?
thanks and best wishes!!

I'm not against the idea of a mobile application, but I personally think an easier win would be to work on optimising the current web interface for mobile screens. Rather than the overhead of building an app from scratch, the current interface could simply receive some new stylesheets to reorganise and resize the UI for smaller screens.
Another benefit of reworking the current interface first is that - when completed - it can be turned into an app relatively quickly and with a lot less overhead than with a app written from scratch.

carpediem911Â , The desktop application works with backtest results. It is independent of the language used. I will soon build a compiled version that is not dependent on Visual Studio. I will notify you by means of a private message.

Hi Anne-Mirthe, thanks so much! Looking forward hearing from you! best wishes

I agree with having a mobile app to monitor and control live algorithms. I give this a higher priority than "mobile coding".Â

Could you link me to your desktop application?

Hi Adrian H you can find the desktop monitor here at GitHub.

Hi, Anne-Mirthe Stam, I loved the desktop monitor, but really missed the live algorithm monitoring. I would like the mobile app, and I'm willing to support it in every way possible. Keep up the good work! Benton.

Thanks for your support :). Here is a little screenshot of the work-in-progress.

Having played with the API myself, I think you can't currently get the data you're showing in the screenshot, am I right? I've opened a GH issue for this FYI.
