We've upgraded our backtesting servers - they're pretty spectacular now! Under the hood they run Intel Core i7-3930's with 6 dedicated cores/12 threads and 64 GB RAM!
For you this means our benchmark time for a 10 year minute backtest has reduced from 46 seconds to 33 seconds - a speed improvement of 40%! It should also mean more machines running in parallel so your jobs don't queue as long.
Today we also pushed out the latest build of LEAN - https://lean.quantconnect.com - which includes new ATR indicator and Bollinger bands courtesy of @mourednik.
