I see that there is an algorithm on this site to pull data for twitter users. This algorithm has been helpful but was wondering if we have some sort of sentiment analysis drawn from stock tweets in Twitter or even pull the raw data of the stock related information from StockTwits website. It has an API exposed. Has someone already done this?

If anyone wants a small sample of Twitter sentiment on around 100 stocks over the last 5 weeks or so, let me know. I've been saving tweets and and computed sentiment since and of march (should have done it earlier!).

Hi Rony, It might be a bit late to answer your question but DecisionForest, a company that specialises in alternative data has done something similar with public social media data. They offer a premium sentiment analysis dataset via an API and they also make it easily accessible with the help of a Python library.
