Is there a way to control the chart colors in python?
plot1 = Chart('Plot1')
plot1.AddSeries(Series('price',SeriesType.Line,0,'red'))
plot1.AddSeries(Series('ema',SeriesType.Line,0,'blue'))
self.AddChart(plot1)
I've tried this at the initialization block but it doesn't work.

plot1.AddSeries(Series('price', SeriesType.Line, "", Color.Red))Before using color, import the library
from System.Drawing import ColorSee the attached algorithm as an example

Is it possible to take plot coloring a step further and make it conditional?Â
In other words, in your example code above is it possible to have a single plot line that changes color depending if it is in an uptrend or downtrend or a similar condition?

Hi Andres Arizpe,
Unfortunately, we cannot do the above using a single series added to the Chart object. We recommend adding multiple series already and only plotting the ones based on signal
for eg:
if red and blue represent uptrend and downtrend, respectively, if we have an uptrend, use the red series to plot and vice versa.
We have created an example algorithm where we change the color of the plot every ten days, which can be easily modified to implement the uptrend/downtrend logic. Refer to the attached backtest.
