I'm having a hard time understanding the best way to use the schedule to set trades to go off and end at certain times.
First - what time zone is used? Is there a way to set it to GMT?
Second - Is there an example of say buying a position at 2AM New York Time (eastern) and Selling it at 4AM NY Time?

The Schedule Events should be created only once. Ideally in Initialize method, since it is only called once by the engine.
The timezone used is the algorithm timezone (self.TimeZone). It is set, by default, as New York Time.
You can change it to UTC using the SetTimeZone method:
def Initialize(self): self.SetTimeZone(TimeZones.Utc)
As long as there is data (market is open), you can buy and sell at any time.

Thank you, I'll give it a try after Christmas.
