I've been looking through the FineFundamental properties in the Database and I haven't found a way to filter the universe based off of sector. Has anyone found a work around, am I missing something or is this feature just not available ? Thanks

In the Fine Universe selector method, you can filter the universe based on sector with this statement:
# N=Normal (Manufacturing), M=Mining, U=Utility, T=Transportation, B=Bank, I=Insurance utility = filter(fine, key=lambda x: x.CompanyReference.IndustryTemplateCode = 'U')
Please checkout for all the available fundamental information at out database.

I should have been more specific I apologize; I've already seen that. My confusion with that was that it says there are only six sectors,
("six industry data collection templates applies to the company. ")
I want to filter for biotech, healthcare,Technology. etc. Are these other sectors not available for filtering?

What if you use the Fundamental Data value of CompanyID or Central Index Key or some other identifier that was given to each company. I have a feeling that these may be assigned based on sector by the SEC or Morning star.Â
