Hi,
I was curious as to why Tradier support ended. Was it because you were having problems with their API? I'm not sure but I believe they are rewriting the API and integrating with Apex clearing. Has anyone else heard anything about this? I spent a lot of time working with there API, and it seems like there's limited support out in the community for it. There are definitely improvements that need to be made but I'm assuming they're working on version 2.0.
If anyone has a status update, wants to share there experience with the API, or believes Tradier will be supported on QuantConnect in the future, please share.

We dropped its support as the maintenance cost was too high given the number of accounts using it. We tried to find a way to make it work with Tradier but they couldn't share the cost with us. The backend Tradier execution doesn't impact their frontend API stability; as they have a polling-based API there were numerous connectivity & caching issues.
The implementation remains in the open source if you'd like to use it; and if you petition Tradier they might find space for it in their plans.

Just petitioned tradier to add qc because they seem to have some of the least expensive option trades. Combined with ORATS currently $10 a month for free option trades (except $0.35 for single indices). Which may go back up to $30 a month after some period, still possibly acceptable for frequent traders.
Hopefully their API has improved to meet your standards.

With Tradier, how can we get intraday streaming data for options? Â Â

Hi Stephane,
If you deploy to the demo environment, Tradier doesn't offer streaming market data due to exchange restrictions related to delayed data, so you must use our data feed. Refer to our Tradier data feed documentation. For further assistance on issues with live algorithms, contact support@quantconnect.com.
