I would like to run program on local PC. I would like this local program to communicate with
algorithm running on QuantConnect cloud using named pipes. Is this allowed?

Local pipes are for communication within the same server. You can use REST commands in live mode -- or if you can't setup a REST server; you can host data on your dropbox account; and then load it into your algorithm with a WebClient.

Thanks for reply, I will need study up on REST since I am the village idiot here. I have a static IP for setting
up pipes on internet if it makes any difference.
I am learning to use anonymous pipes for interprocess within same computer. Its alot simpler than using custom
API's.
