I need some help understanding MAE and MFE in forex.
The MAE docs says: The Maximum Adverse Excursion (as symbol currency)
E.g. a MAE from a trade of GBPUSD is -0.34.
How I interpret that number? Given the GBPUSD currency is USD, that means that the trade MAE was USD -0.34?
And what if the MAE is from a USDJPY trade and is equal to -0.29? that means the trade MAE was JPY -0.29?
Thanks in advance!

In fact, MAE and MFE are not expressed in "symbol" currency, but in account currency, since the difference from the worst/best price from entry is multiplied by the conversion rate (code),
In the first case, the trade had be losing 0.34USD (total, not per share) and 0.29USD in the second one.
