Good morning,
I don't know if this is the right place to write. Administrators can delete the message if necessary.
I saw that in the Discord group, there is little participation so I decided to write here in the community.
I would like to form a development group with the most varied strategies. For example, I have about fifteen, some created by me, others copied from Quanpedia, based on options, Random Forrest, Neural networks, crypto, etc.
Would anyone like to take on the commitment to collaborate and develop together?
Thanks
Roberto

To help Roberto form a development group for algorithmic trading strategies on QuantConnect, here's a structured approach:
Create a Discussion Thread: Roberto should start a new discussion thread in the QuantConnect community forum. This will serve as a central place to invite interested members to join the development group. The forum is a great place to reach out to a wide audience of QuantConnect users.
Define Objectives: Clearly outline the objectives and goals of the development group. This includes specifying the types of strategies to be developed (e.g., options, Random Forest, Neural networks, crypto) and the expected level of collaboration. This will help attract members with similar interests and expertise.
Set Up Communication Channels: Establish communication channels such as a dedicated Discord server or Slack group. These platforms allow for real-time collaboration and discussions, making it easier to coordinate efforts and share ideas.
Organize Initial Meetings: Schedule initial meetings to discuss the group's structure, roles, and responsibilities. This is also a good time to brainstorm potential strategies and projects. Meetings can be held virtually using video conferencing tools.
Share Resources and Knowledge: Encourage members to share resources, such as Quanpedia strategies, research papers, and coding tutorials. This will enhance the collective knowledge of the group and provide valuable insights into different trading strategies.
Collaborative Development: Utilize QuantConnect's collaborative tools and GitHub integration to work on shared algorithm projects. This ensures version control and seamless collaboration among group members. Members can contribute code, review each other's work, and iterate on strategies together.
Regular Updates and Feedback: Implement a system for regular updates and feedback sessions. This will help track progress, address challenges, and refine strategies collaboratively. Regular communication will keep the group motivated and aligned with its goals.
By following these steps, Roberto can effectively form and manage a development group focused on algorithmic trading strategies on QuantConnect.

Thank you. I sent you a request.Â

Hi Roberto,
Thanks for this initiative. I have designed a tool that generates QC code directly from quant finance articles and I would be interested to develop algos. I am reachable on GitHub, Medium or Linkedin.

Roberto,
This seems a good initiative! Â I'm in early stage of using QC but not early in developing algos. Â I'm particularly interested in optimization and furthering that experience into using neural networks. Â I'm reachable on Linkedin and Medium.

Hello,
if you agree we can create a group on Whatsapp, if everybody has whatsapp and then we create also private group on Github so we can share the algorithms and exchange ideas. Now i'm working on some options strategies adding some ML prediction to improves performance. What are you working on? Please let me know. If you send me an email to:
r_coccaro1977@hotmail.it
i will create the group in a way we can interact more directly.
Regards
Roberto
