QuantConnect's engine is an open-souce project called Lean. It is written in C# and you can find it at Github. There, you can look for our implementation. Maybe it can serve you as guide to a C++ version.
Also, please consider porting your C++ strategy into C# and run it with QuantConnect. We have all the structure, so you will save time and will have your algorithm running as soon as possible!
