Hi everyone,
I'd like to know if I could deploy an FX and equities algo (algo strategy that trades both currency and equity at the same time) on IB (I'm guessing for the currencies, I'd obviously have to check to make sure the currency pairs I plan to trade are available through IB).
Any advice or help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

QuantConnect supports multi-asset algorithms: we can trade FX, equities, CFD, Futures and Options in the same algorithm.
Limitations do exist on the brokerage side. In order to trade FX, IB requires $10M capital. Source: Interactive Brokers Folds Retail Forex in US

@Alexandre Catarino Thanks so much for the clarification. Final question is I guess: Since I can trade multi-assets in one algorithm, let's say I have a trigger that buys AAPL and EURUSD, is there a way to specify that AAPL should be bought via IB, and EURUSD should be bought via Oanda?

Unfortunatelly, it is not possible to use two brokerages with the same algorithm.
@J Dino, since IB no longer accepts forex retail investors in the US, in order to trade that market, they need to become an ECP (Eligible Contract Participant).

For those of us outside US. Any issues with running FX algos against IB?

Late bump: Seconded the last question--
The documentation seems to indicate that we can run FX with IB
We are all clear to run FX with IB with $10m capital and/or outside the U.S., (for example with IB-UK), correct?

To me, there is no issue to run FX algo on IB without $10M as long as the accountholder(s) is not deemed to be a US person.
Just keep in mind that in addition to slippage (lower spreads than most competitors), IB also charges a commission for each trade on FX.
