I have seen no recent discussions so I will ask this question again…
Besides using the LEAN engine, does QC allow trading funds on foreign markets?

QuantConnect currently does not support trading on non-US equity markets directly through the platform. This includes foreign markets as well. The only way for users to participate in Forex trading is through currency pairs, such as OANDA pairs and FXCM pairs. Also, QuantConnect does not support non-USD base currency.
However, it is possible to use the LEAN open-source platform for international trading. You would need to create your own market, put your own backtesting data into the appropriate folder, and then update the symbol properties and market hours database. This is not a small task but it is possible.
For live trading Chinese stocks, as a workaround, you can consider running a local instance of LEAN and adding a new brokerage.
Please note that these features are not directly supported on the QuantConnect.com website but they are possible through the LEAN open-source platform.
