Hello,
I couldn't identify few inticators with the present names as the symbols might change over time. Is there any way to access the symbols(eg:AAPL) with ISIN code or some other universal code for stock symbols.

ISIN database is proprietary and expensive so we've created our own system to identify securities uniquely over time. They are called "Symbols". Tickers are simple strings e.g. "AAPL". Symbols represent unique companies by combining the ticker, market and start date (AAPL, Market.USA, IPO Listing Date, Strike, Expiry, etc).
When you add a ticker we assume its the ticker available today, and look up the Symbol that matches it for your algorithm.

Thanks Jared, I would like to import external data which contains ISIN code and tickers. Is there any way to match the tickers in my data with the symbols you provide.Because I would like to implement a strategy based on the data available with me and invest accordingly. I tried to match the tickers in my data to the symbols provided, I'm getting very less symbols matching.
Can you please look into it and suggest me, if it is wrong with the data I have or my perspective or any way to match that.
