For Forex, I have the resolution set to hourly yet on my charts the candlesticks are only shown once per day - is this expected behavior?

In backtesting mode, the charts created automatically by the algorithm have daily resolution.
If we want charts that reflect the data resolution, we need to create our custom charts. Please checkout the docs, Charting section:
