Hey dear quantconnect users,

I wonder if, and if yes, how, it is possible to set BTC holdings as starting “cash” with the setCash method.

I developed an algorithm for hedging purposes because a hold a certain amount of BTC and nearly no cash on a bitfinex account.

So what I want to do is to short trade/hedge only and ofcourse de-hedge if the algorithm says “buy”.

So is there a way to start my strategy with an initial holding of BTC instead of cash in USD?
