I'm trying to allow my backtests to trade partial shares, but every time I try to run it assuming it'll trade a percentage of the portfolio with partial shares, it just doesn't trade. I've made a workaround by upping the portfolio starting amount to enough to trade high cap stocks, but hoping to find a better solution.

As stated in some post before, fractional shares is supported in LEAN, but is not supported in equities, due to brokers not allowing for fractional shares via there API. See
