hi... newbie here.... i just have a question... since... quantconnect is c# sharp language... and EA in metatrader is also C# are they... compatible..? or interchangable...? thanks... :)

Metatrader is on MQL4 and MQL5, which are C++ based, not C#. Although they're similar, you still will need to rewrite every function in QuantConnect API. Nor C++, nor C# doesn't have MQL4 functions (begginging with "i"), etc.

Tadas explained very well the difference between MetaTrader and QuantConnect.
I invite you to read the docs and check out QuantConnect University examples. After that you will be able to easily write your MT EA algorithms in QC API.
