Share New Research 
Something strange is happening… I created a new project then added an AlphaXYZ.py file to project and imported into main.py. I keep getting a file not found error and if I close the project it deletes the file I created. This is very frustrating, any help would be greatly appreciated!Â

Hi Michael,
This sounds like a bug but, try to log out, then log in, then go into your project, then add the new file, then hit Ctrl+S (save). Then to test for sure that the file is added, log out again, log back in, and go back to your project to see if the new file is there.
If it is not, yes, there is a bug and please report to support@quantconnect.com.

This has been occasionally happening to me as well. Sometimes simply refreshing the page is enough to fix it and compile the code, but sometimes no matter what I try the new file I create can't seem to be found when attempting to compile.

I believe the QuanConnect UX Team has addressed this issue, If it still persists, please contact support@quantconnect.com with the following information:
 - What is your browser and operating system?
 - Could you please confirm you've got 3rd party cookies enabled?
 - What is your internet connection, do you connect through a VPN?
 - Can you please open the Google Console (Ctrl Shift I) and share if there are any errors in the logs?
 - If you could record a video, it would also help us immensely.
