Hi everyone!
I've recently noticed that QuantConnect is launching environment 3.0! Although I'm excited by QuantConnect's efforts to keep updating their user interface, I'm so used to the current environment that I don't want to change…

Is it possible for you guys to keep the old environment so we can choose between the two?

I agree with you !
Furthermore, the new environment, in its BETA release version does not seem to work properly with Framework-based algorithms. At least in my case ends up crashing every time.

I am also very comfortable with the old environment. I'm trying to use the new environment for debugging and support work I do. Once I'm completely comfortable with the new environment and can't trigger bugs in it after many hours of work we can migrate. We're a long way from there at the moment sadly but the UX team is working very quickly.
I recommend every few days switching to 3.0 and re-testing to see if it's stable enough for your needs, and then flipping back if it's not good enough yet.
@Ale - Please send in a support ticket so we can debug. We've seen no examples of what you're mentioning,

Thanks for the replies! I've also found some errors with version 3.0:
I'm not sure if the errors are still there because I haven't used version 3.0 after trying it, but I'm rooting for QuantConnect's team to get 3.0 running smoothly!

I'm getting the same issues as you @Li Cheng and a couple other ones. I want to create a support ticket but I'm not sure it would reach the right people as I don't have a support seat.
@Jared Broad is there a thread in the forums to track these issues? Seems like a good place to track everything. I would create it myself but I don't want to override any mechanisms you might already have.

Hey AK M, Li Cheng - Thank you for the reports – please send bug reports to support@quantconnect.com. We collect and time stamp them there to note whether the issue is fixed in the latest releases.
We ship 1-2x a day often with bug fixes so it'll become more stable soon! Thank you for the patience 😊
