Hey guys,
I need to run a single account connected to my family master account on IB. The problem is the system only allows me to buy two seats?
I don't need two, it's just me here. In fact, I'm not very sure what “buying the seat” does, as I still need to pay for the nodes and so on?
How do we go around this?
Thanks,
Alberto

Hi Alberto,
In order to manage multiple accounts, you need to be a Financial Advisor. The IB Financial Advisors feature is only available with a Trading Firm seat. The Trading Firm Organization needs to have, at least, two seats, and it's billed annually.
