Hi all,
I am currently a rising college sophomore and have an interest in becoming a quantitative trader. I am a Finance and Computer Science major and am minoring in either economics or statistics but can't decide between the two. I've been reading Inside the Black Box: The Simple Truth About Quantitative Trading and am taking a course on Algorithmic trading robots on Udemy . I was wondering if any of you had any advice or words of wisdom to help get me started? Do you think I'm majoring in the right fields of study? I have experience coding in Java and am an honors business student with a 3.9 GPA. I am willing to work hard and do whatever is necessary to master this field.
