I don't know if it is proper to ask here. We post some logs to track the status of the algorithm. But we found sometime the log is not posted even if the QCAlgorithm.Log is called. Since Log method is a public method, we have an extended method to QCAlgorithm to handle limit order calculation and call Log method to output the information of the order in this extended method. All the messages from this extended method cannot show in the log window. Does anybody know why? Thank you very much.

Logs are always posted to file under your log limit; but not always posted to the console. The console has a rate limiter which stops packet flooding (you'd crash your web browser). Live logs only show in the time area you're zoomed into.
If you have a specific algorithm you're referring to please share it or send an email to support for assitance.

Thank you to answer it. One more thing i forgot to add is that these messages are shown in backtesting mode. But in live mode, these messages are not displayed. I will send an email to support for assitance. Thank you very much
