Hello, everyone,
I'm relatively new to algorithm trading here. I am just wondering if there is an easy way to create an average from an average?
At the moment I have 2 SMA's with a length of 120 and 12.
But my aim is to create an SMA from the 120day SMA.
How can I do that?
Best regards
Marcel

Marcel Friz,
Is this what you are looking for?

Hi Vladimir,
yes that helps a lot. Thanks.
Unfortunately I have one more small problem.
I want to subtract self.nma_b from self.nma_a and safe this in self.nma.
But when I check the values in the chart, they are wrong calculated:
151681,1964 - 133104,9002 = 18576,2962 and not 17325,6669
Vladimir
Marcel Friz,
If you are satisfied with my answer, please accept it.
