Hey Oliver no worries, its in the terms and conditions but I've updated the top of the documentation to answer your question. We only access algorithms for the purposes of debugging and only 2 team members (myself and Gustavo) have access to database. If you ask the thousands of people we've helped we always ask explicit permission to open a user project :)
Mostly though we live our model -- we're not a hedgefund and don't profit from algorithms at all. We serve you infrastructure and revenue comes directly from it. Trust from the community is the most valuable asset we have which drives usage from thousands of people; if we ever lost that trust we'd lose the whole community -- so its just not worth stealing any algorithm.
PS: Yes you own your algorithm.
