Still learning the basics with some trial and error. These lines of code runs like forever. Tried to turn the node off but doesn't seem to help. What might be wrong? Thanks

I was able to run my backtest script successfully in the past few days. All of a sudden, the same script I was testing stuck in the same situation as mentioned above.

Clearly, currently, there is a problem at QuantConnect….
In the past, when this happened (search this forum), the problems were attributed to the "cloud."
I think that QC should monitor this kind of issue and prominently display an ALERT on the web navigation bar (ideally sending also messages via email) to avoid wasting users' time.

and it seems that this issue is frequently happening in the last few days.
It would be nice to know the reason.

Hi all, there was a temporary outage of backtesting from the primary data stores needing a reboot. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. It's been resolved and all systems are back online. We have alerting systems but in general, please send outage reports to support@quantconnect.com. I think this is the first downtime (6 hours) in more than 6 months which puts us at 99.9% uptime.
