Buying Fractional Shares

Interactive Brokers allows the purchase of fractional shares. However, when using SetHoldings as an order method, the quantity of the shares bought are whole numbers. This is the case in paper trading and live trading. Is there a way to enable the buying of fractional shares by inserting a certain model in the Initialize section of the algorithm?

QuantConnect/Lean supports fractional shares. However, this feature is not extended to equity (we consider a lot size of 1 share) because fractional trading is not supported via IBKR API or FIX/CTCI at this time (FAQ).
