I was wondering if there is a way I can see what underlying equity (ticker) an indicator has been subscribed to? something like: MySMA.AssetTicker
thanks!

Hi Stinus
When you set up an indicator, you would need to state its ticker/symbol first. In that case, we usually save it in a dictionary for multiple symbol usage. Then we can call the inidcator and its corresponding symbol easily.
Of course there is an indirect but unstable to call that is not recommended:

Hi Stinus Hojensbo,
The indicator object does not have an attribute to store the symbol of the asset which is built on. We recommend maintaining a dictionary keyed by symbol to store indicators for the symbol. We have created a demo algorithm that stores indicators created by both shortcut method or custom period indicator. Alternatively, we can also implement a SymbolData class to store multiple indicators for a symbol. Refer to this thread for more information.Best,
