Is this possible? I can liquidate individual positions manually with a market order or limit order. However if the limit order doesn't trigger or is set incorrectly, there doesn't seem to be a way I can cancel that order?

Hi Axist
I believe there is a way, You can store your order as a variable to update or cancel it. Check this in documentation.
Cheers
Louis

Hi Axist,
It sounds like you are trying to manually cancel invalid limit orders on your broker, without code. It may be hard for one to advise you without knowing your broker, as I imagine the solution would be specific to your broker. (eg: the way i cancel orders in TDA is different from how I cancel them in Tradier).
What broker do you use? and do these limit orders show up in your broker's list of pending orders?

Hi Axist,
Market orders cannot be canceled because they are almost filled immediately. We can store Limit order tickets and check its status after a certain interval; if it isn't filled, we can cancel them using the Cancel method of the OrderTicket object. In the attached backtest, we have created a demo algorithm that tracks a limit order till the whole day, and it is not filled, we cancel it.
Best,
