I'm trying to analyze data for delisted securities but don't understand how to identify them in AddSecurity. If I use the plain ticker, it will just find the most recent instance of a security with that ticker but in many cases, delisted tickers are later reused.
An example is “EAGL” which is the ticker for four different SPACs that IPO'd in 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2018, respectively. When I lookup the security with AddEquity("EAGL") and then get the history for it, it only covers the fourth version of EAGL - the one that IPO'd in 2018.
Is there a function that will return a list of all historical instances of a security given a ticker?

Hi David Avraamides,
When two companies share the same ticker, we can specify the algorithm to subscribe by using EAGL.1 or EAGL. See the following Doc in the Data library [1]. In the attached research notebook, we demonstrate how to use the history method for both tickers. Note that the data explorer shows EAGL.2 ticker, but the History method does not return any data. We have notified the UX team to look into the issue.

Thanks, Varad. I pulled data for the “EAGL” ticker from Polygon.io and broke it into the separate time series for the IPO and delisting dates that I know of. This is how it should look but like you said, I'm unable to replicate those four time series when I use the History method in QuantConnect.
