Hello,
I was reading in the features of the different plans this quite interesting one
" Trading Technologies Brokerage (Coming Soon) "
This would enalrge tremendously the brokerage options for future trading. Is there any more information about how and when this will be implemented?
As far as I know backtesting futures is still a challenge because no continuos future data is avaiable. SCF data did not work anymore when I tried, and it did not cover all futures anyway.
Is there any new regarding continuos future data, using different type of adjustment?
Without this any long term future backtesting is not reliable.
Thanks
JC

Hey JC,
Trading Technology integration is complete and we passed their certification for futures exchanges, and we are waiting on the final word from their team to give the final green light. We are planning on rolling it out in beta soon. Continuous futures is coming soon with the launch of our live futures data feed. Hopefully April, we're catching up on lots of bugs at the moment.

Hi Jared,
adding trading technologies (TT) will be a huge advance. I predict a large user base increase.
Are you planning to make available all their API functions or just a subset? For example they have a lot of sophisticated server side orders, such as autospreader order, which would be very important to be able to use from quantconnect.
Regarding the future feed, I am quite interested. Is there any information about its features? Constructing continuous future series is a very tricky business, but if you ll get it done it will be a strong competitive advantage. It would be great to be able to get the quandl scf continuos future type describe here.
I was checking the presently available data, and could find CME only, non US exchanges have no data. Interactive brokers and the brokers which cab ne used with TT offer acces to non US markets, so backtesting that data would be very important.
I am really excited about the upcoming new functionalities
Thanks

Thanks JC! We're excited too!
We only support US markets at this time, including only US future markets. Like other brokerages - we'll launch with just the order types that QC supports, not the whole TT API.
